It is What it is. A series of photographs which explore a subtle sideways view of the world. In a post Brexit Britain the wry humour these photographs depict are an escape and way of surviving in the bleakness of the current era. The images fall into the tradition of re-imagining the everyday. From a portaloo to a television, I have carefully created objects of beauty from places and things which are unsightly in the everyday world. My aim is for the viewer to regard this as a surreal or political act.
